Using two different numbers for Uber/Lyft

Here is today's "Stupid question of the day", by yours truly. I have 2 cell phones, one from work and the other personal. Without a long story as to why I want to use both, has anyone had experience with registering 2 separate numbers to use through either service? With Uber, since it is a username/password login, I have no problem logging in, but have never gone on line with the 2nd number for fear of deactivation. Lyft uses pin codes, so that would be a different issue I guess.
